What is fun about backyard putting greens is that they don’t cost anything beyond your initial investment, and you can use them almost any time you want. There will be some upkeep, but that should not be too hard to handle like cleaning oriental area rugs. You obviously can’t use backyard putting greens when your yard is covered with snow, but you can probably use them during the other three seasons of the year. You may have to invest in something to cover them up while the snow falls, but they should be good until next year.
