My french coffee press shattered a couple of days ago. Whenever we don’t use the espresso coffee machine (click here for my evaluation of the Cuisinart EM-100 Espresso maker) or when we have got guests then we usually make use of our coffee press. Really this is the 3rd french press that has smashed on us so we were looking for a better made french press . The Bodum Columbia 8-Cup Stainless-Steel Thermal Press Pot certainly will do the job!
Description Of The Bodum 8-Cup Stainless-Steel Thermal Pot
Perfect for the home or the workplace, this french coffee press coffeemaker doubles as an insulated thermos so coffee remains hot and fresh for up to two hours. The pot holds 34 ounces (1 liter), practically 7 5-ounce cups, and may be used for producing tea along with coffee. It’s made of stainless steel polished to a mirror-finish, includes a big, comfortable handle, and is dishwasher-safe. The lid seals in high temperature extremely well and turns to stop warmth from getting away through the spout between pours. The pot stands 8-1/2 inches high, including the plunger top.

French Press coffee has one negative aspect, if you don’t serve the total pot when it is first brewed then it appears to be cool. This pot can be a help. It is not excellent however it retains the coffee warm or hot for awhile. I load it full of very hot tap water before I create the coffee in it and subsequently the coffee remains warm for more time. I think it is the right press that you can buy at this selling price.
One other issue to be aware of is that whenever most of these coffee pots are rated for 10-12 cups that they will be somewhat fewer. The cups they are talking about are usually four ounce cups. Most of these coffee pots make Four usual cups of coffee and not more. PS: That is an easy way to minimize your coffee shop expense.
