But of all the fibers I have tried including: ground flax seed, 3 different whole food fiber mixes, 2 or 3 different herb powder mixes (which cramped my gut), apple fiber, prunes, lots of vegetables, fruits and salads, which had helped very little and not near enough.

Through continual prayer I found PoopDoc while searching the web for more constipation relief products. I ordered right away and to my COMPLETE AMAZEMENT it worked GREAT! My husband and daughter also benefit from it’s powerful working affects. PoopDoc is by far the only fiber that works without cramping my colon or irritating my ulcers. It also balances my blood sugar level. I now poop 2 to 3 times a day by taking 1 to 2 PoopDoc capsules along with 1 tbls of Daily PoopDoc fiber. I thought I might not ever find something that works soooooo well!

I give thanks to Jesus my Savior and Lord for PoopDoc. WOW again!

Constipation can either be treated the natural way using all natural remedies or by taking laxatives. Some people prefer natural remedies because they are anxious if they will experience side effects. Some prefer taking laxatives because the effects might seem speedier.

Although laxatives are very effective for treating constipation, you should consult with your doctor if you experience any side effects. Don’t be alarmed if you still experience enhanced bowel movement after you have stopped taking laxatives. Your body is just beginning to adjust to a laxative free environment.

The most beneficial way to move your bowels is an all-natural colon cleanse / constipation relief type product.  This helps keep away from harmful side effects and loosing peristalsis.

Ever since taking Hyfiber from Medtrition I’ve had relief from constipation and it no longer has been an issue for me. Before I was trying all of the laxatives I saw marketed but nothing seemed to work. When I friend suggested to me that I take this I was excited because it had worked out so well for her. It’s great because I can mix it in with my favorite juice and I know that I am getting all of the fiber I need. It has 11 grams of fiber per serving and it tastes great too! I did not except a medical food to work better than a laxative but this really does to what is says it does!

Hemorrhoids and constipation pretty much go hand in hand. Constipation means you are having a tough time getting bowel movements to leave your body. There is waste that is compacted inside your digestive tract, sometimes for days, and it hardens.

When you feel the urge to go, things may not come easily. Without constipation relief may notice that it takes a while to push and strain, trying to get the stool to finally finish its trip. While you may think it’s just the straining that is causing your hemorrhoids, you’d be wrong. Here’s what’s really happening.

The fact is, you get an urge to go and then spend a lot of time in the bathroom pushing and hoping that you will be able to get past your bout of constipation and move the waste out of your system, right? All that time you spend sitting there is really the cause of your problem.

Here Are Some Natural Remedies to Get Constipation Relief

No more laxatives. Here are some natural remedies to get constipation relief:

  • Take a cup of coffee to stimulate your digestive tract. Coffee and other bitter foods can produce natural constipation relief.
  • Avoid straining and pushing. Prolonged, habitual straining during bowel movement injures the muscles and nerves in your rectum and colon, which causes incontinence and/or hemorrhoids.
  • Avoid suppressing the urge as this can lead to constipation. If you get into the habit of fecal suppression due to busyness or an erratic lifestyle, you’ll pay for it later.
  • Get into the habit of exercising 4 times a week, 20 minutes per session. This stimulates the digestive process, and helps in constipation relief.
  • Eat 6 oz. of whole grain products daily. Eat 5 servings of vegetables and fruits daily. Drink 8 glasses of water daily (at least 8 oz./glass).

Tired of Veggies? Try Fruits to Alleviate Constipation…

Below are some of the most widely recommended fruits you can use for constipation relief. It is up to you if you prefer non-organic or organic fruits. Either way, you still get the same amount of fiber, though minus the pesticides in organic fruits. Be sure to consume the fruits you bought as soon as possible. The longer the fruit sits on your fruit basket, the more they lose their essential nutrients.

Apricot – Apricots are natural laxatives, fiber rich and contains the essential vitamins A and C. It is also high in potassium content as well as many other minerals. You can choose from fresh and dried apricots. Dried apricots are actually higher in essential vitamins and minerals. A word of caution to those who have ulcers, avoid dried apricots since they can trigger hyperacidity.

Detoxification or Colon Cleansing Is a Form of Constipation Relief

Unfortunately many people suffer from a need of constipation relief, most likely its been days if not longer since they had a bowel movement. If you were a sewage plant, what do you think it would smell like if you opened up one of the doors?

How often we should go can be understood with plain old common sense. If a meal goes in, what do you think should come out? One in, One out. It is well understood if we eat 3 meals a day, then we should have 3 bowel movements a day. Remember how many diapers you changed? After each meal the baby left you a present. Now that’s a good working colon. Most adults eat two major meals a day, thus they should have two bowel movements.

We can help our bodies function at an optimal level by having a clean healthy colon, which is the foundation to our health. Detoxification or colon cleansing helps break up and flush out impacted fecal matter. A healthy colon equals vibrant health.

One way to try to avoid some of this from happening is to look for more organic foods. There is a large movement toward organic foods these days, and if you can find foods that were grown and harvested without the use of a lot of those chemicals and pesticides you give your body a better fighting chance.

You still can’t necessarily control all the things in the water you drink or in the air you breathe, so you may want to also give your body a little bit of a boost in assistance. A regular colon cleanse can help clear out any of those toxins that are getting stuck inside your system and give your body a fighting chance.

There Are a Couple of Reasons Why Rett Syndrome Has a Link to Constipation

MOBILITY ISSUES
The reason for this is because when you can’t work larger muscles in your body, the rest of your body gets lazy as well. This includes all the muscles inside your body including those in the digestive tract. As those muscles get lazy, they don’t move waste through the system, leading to constipation.

NERVE ISSUES
Another reason that Rett Syndrome and constipation may be related has to do with the nervous system. There are a lot of neurological deficiencies that can come with Rett Syndrome. These same neurological deficiencies can lead to constipation.

The Link between Rhett Syndrome and Constipation

NEUROLOGICAL.
The first reason for Rhett Syndrome and constipation to be tied together is the fact that the neurological disorder can also affect the nerves in the digestive tract, causing it to work less effectively than it should.

PHYSICAL.
The next link between Rhett Syndrome and constipation is depleted physical activity. A person with Rhett Syndrome often has mobility issues as well as coordination problems that make it less likely they are going to be very physically active, like other children of their same age. This lack of physical activity can increase the Rhett Syndrome and constipation in fact.
