Pushbutton Switch
Pushbutton Switch can be used used to activate the starter in cars, trucks, and tractors. When an Pushbutton Switch has a defective start position a Pushbutton Switch can be used instead of replacing the defective switch. This might be done if the car is so old a replacement for the Pushbutton Switch was either unavailable or prohibitively expensive, for example. Where the security of a key lock isn’t important, such as a race car or a tractor, Pushbutton Switch are used to control the starter and a simple toggle switch handles turning the ignition on and off.
The Range Switch provides an on/off function and is approved to EN61058 with double-pole isolation and a 3mm contact gap. For battery powered portable equipment the Range Switch is rated to 10A at 12VDC. The Range Switch is available with either solder or PCB terminals and metric and imperial sized spindles and bushes may be specified. Spindles are available with or without flats as required and rotate through a 45 degree index angle.
